We did not feel comfortable using the black tank flush connection when we noticed it did not have a backflow preventer installed. Even through we do not use the fresh water hose to flush the black tank we still prefer a backflow preventer. It was an easy task to crawl under the coach and install one where the flexible 1/2 hose connected to the PEX line from the flush head.
