We love our Weber grill. Our previous coach did not have an external propane connection and we never added one. We always carried plenty of the small propane cylinders but with the limited storage on our Class C decided to convert the grill to use the external propane connection that is standard on the Quantum. We ordered the Torjik conversion kit and modified the grill. We followed the directions and did not find it difficult.
