 We added a wire shelf in the cabinet over the couch to improve the storage efficiency.

Storage baskets above dinette and door

 We wanted to have a convenient place to store items we frequently use at the dinette and going in and out the door. We have a dog and the basket above the door is great for the leash, flashlights, poop bags, brushes, etc. We found these nice bronze colored wire baskets complete with hanging hardware on Amazon.

Bluetooth voltage monitoring for the house batteries

We like to know when and if the alternator is charging the house batteries. If you are driving down the road using a battery monitor mounted somewhere mid coach is not convenient. We found this little Bluetooth voltage monitor that is easily attached to the house batteries and can be monitored using an app on our cell phone.

GPS and RVi3 custom mounts

 We are very attached to our Garmin GPS and it has been all over the US including a trip to Alaska and back. When we discovered that the Android Auto in the Axxera head did not work we knew for sure that our trusty old Garmin was going to get installed somewhere. Besides, phone mapping only works when you have cell service. We have been in locations were cell service was non-existent. We also use a RVi3 supplemental braking system with tire pressure monitoring and toad battery charge monitoring. Not that we need the supplemental braking with the Chevy Sonic but we still want to monitor the tires and extra braking is always welcome. After studying the dash and visual choices for some time we decided to make our own custom mounts for the GPS and the RVi3 Command Center.

 

Cable and hose hangers

 We installed a versa track in the storage compartment under the bedroom slide. If you decide to do this pay close attention to the length of the screws used because the fresh water tank is on the back side of that wall. If you remove the cover on the left that hides the transfer switch you will be able to stick your fingers in between the wall and the tank to judge the length of the screws.

Towel holder over kitchen sink

 We like to have a towel near the kitchen sink but in the case of the Quantum JM31 the towel would need to hang from a holder mounted to the underside of the cabinet. All the towel rings we were able to find were large and would look hideous in that location and we were considering making our own until we spotted an up scale toilet paper holder at Lowe's. It was pricey but was a perfect solution.

Wow, are you sure that heat duct is long enough!

One benefit of installing the washer/dryer was the discovery of the kinked heating duct to the bedroom area. Once the drawers were removed we noticed that the heating duct was in an S shape and kinked to the point of extreme restriction. We removed the register and pulled out the duct and were astonished to discover it was about 5 feet longer than necessary. It was a simple job to cut the extra length off and reattach it to the register. Now the duct is straight with good air flow.
